Peako Group integrates related Peako businesses to better utilize all sorts of resources for a betterment of the individual Peako companies and the general mankind.

There are currently four distinctive independent Peako companies devoted to renewable biomass energy, namely:

1. Peako Engineering Co Ltd was established in 1996 in Hong Kong with business operations in environmental and civil engineering. Being an Approved Contractor for the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the company has vast and successful experience and technical know-how in Design & Build projects in Hong Kong and overseas.

2. Jiangxi Peako Biomass Energy Co Ltd was established in 2000 in Pingxiang City, Jiangxi Province of China for the R&D and production of Biomass Gasification Engine System (BGES) using agricultural waste or residue such as rice husk, saw dust, wood chips, forest wastes, nut shell, etc. which will otherwise cause disposal problem. 

The 20 ha factory compound comprises of a R&D center, fabrication workshop, administration building with training & hostel facilities, a fully equipped modern rice mill and a complete range of biomass gasification and power generation facilities.

Peako has full scale BGES facilities to enable R&D and testing under real commercial situation that surpass any laboratory scale work. The setup for testing prototype producer gas engines has served many engines from reputable gas engine builders. Peako is the only development institute that offers this unique service.

3. Step Technology Limited was established in 2007 in Hong Kong as the Sales and Design Head Office. With Hong Kong's efficient communication and sound financial infrastructure, the company is responsible for all the international sales and marketing activities of the Peako BGES. With the readily available resources from Peako affiliates, the company is responsible for the BGES design and development.

4. Wengyuan Peako Limited was established in 2008 in Wengyuan, Guangdong Province in South China as the hub for BGES production. Construction of factory buildings on the 40 ha industrial site will soon commence in mid 2008 with production scheduled in early 2009. The closer proximity to international ports in Guangdong and Hong Kong will better serve overseas clients.
